Search engine optimization works to increase the traffic and audience size o your website. There are two main ways to make your website strongly optimized for search engines. Simply, you can call them On-Page and Off-Page SEO. You cannot consider which practice is more useful for website rankings on search engines. So, finally, in this article, I will share with you the core difference between “On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO”.

On-Page SEO

On-Page Optimization is the process of making your website optimized for search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing. It can also be called On-Site Optimization. In this practice of SEO Optimization, you need to change or add some on-page content that would be easily optimized by search engines. When a search engine keeps on the processing of crawling and then indexing to catch the focus keyword, these changes what you made on the website are the core ones to use by search engines. This is the kind of SEO technique you need to make on the backend of your website. If you have good On-Page SEO, it will be easy to search engines to index your web pages and can find out what your site is about, and easily navigate the structure and content of your website, this results in a good ranking of the website.

Factors for On-Page SEO

  • Page Title

In this section, just put your targeted keywords in the Page Title, it can also be called “Title Tag”. Title tags are part of the meta tags that appear at the top of the HTML inside the < head> area. These are main text to describe the webpage is all about. It should contain main keywords to help search engines to determine what the page is about.

  • Page Description

These are also called the “Meta Description”. You can add here the description of what your website is all about? The quality and relevance of the Meta description play a most important role in optimization of the content. If the content is good enough as readers point, a high-quality meta description can increase traffic.

  • Images Alt text

Alt text can also be called as “alt attributes”. These are used within an HTML code to describe the appearance and function of an image on a page. It provides better image context and descriptions to search engine crawlers, helping them to index an image properly. If your image file is not able to load, and image alt text will display, and it will help search engines to find your image.

  • Page Content

Page content means the information your website is contained in the form of text, links, images, audio, videos, and animations. Website page content explained everything section wise to the visitors. It helps to get the complete idea about the business, an area of expertise, services, and products, your recent updates. Moreover, you can also collect the contact information there for further business requirements.

  • Internal Linking

These are links that go from one page on a domain to a different page on the same domain. They are commonly used in main navigation means it allows users to navigate a website and therefore plays an essential role in delivering a united user experience. It helps to spread ranking power around websites.

Off-Page SEO focuses on the promotion of the website outside. It increases the authority of your domain by getting links from other websites. Through Off-Page, you can find your target audience to get connected with your business. It includes a search engine and directories submissions. Social media and online business directories are the core technique you must use to follow “Off-Page SEO Optimization”.

It is the most effective part of Off-page SEO, as email outreach keeps people reminding the company as many times they have got emails from the brand. As much as it is effective, same as sometimes it is considered spammy. It is just to contain the authentic stuff on that. For that, you must select your target audience, and then link them with the content of your email. Only, sending a cold email would never be fruitful to your business.

It is simply an opportunity to share your content and expertise on other sites. As a blogger, you can create plenty of backlinks through Guest blogging. As much as you get genuine backlinks to your website, can help you to generate the large bundle of traffic. What is the purpose of SEO, it will justify through its process. It will make your website covered with plenty of audiences that would help to make money online.
